For all the bad in the world, I have had so many instances of loving-kindness
from strangers, I will be sharing with you a recent act of kindness that made my
heart sparkle and give me an extra skip in my step!
A few days back, there was an urgency that I needed to attend, so I hurried out
of the house, forgetting something so important at a time like this. We were
moving closer to my destination when I discovered that the security checkpoint
soldiers were taking people with no face masks on.
Everyone was wearing their mask And I felt like the strange person among them, nothing else mattered to
me but to be safe from this situation. People around me murmured at my carelessness to have forgotten something like that at home,
Then a lady next to me asked if I had a handkerchief that I said yes, and she
loosed her nice ponytail braid and pulled out a pair of rubber bands, folded my
handkerchief in a rectangular shape, and tied the rubber band to the edges.
She handed it over to me in no waste of time, and I was astonished at the way
she did it effortlessly for a stranger she never knew. She saved me from an
embarrassing scene and I’m thankful for that.
Good people are everywhere and I encourage you to continues being good
because you will reap plentiful one day
