Kidnapping is a catastrophic menace that has eaten deeply into the present societal crime ladder. The level at which the so-called kidnappers  are operating is in a scientific modulus

For the fact remains that is kidnappers are virtually everywhere now, they live among us,
They are our neighbors, friends, and even close relatives.

The untold story is that not all kidnapping incidents are published, few days ago someone was kidnapped in a town very close to my residence, and such an incident never made it to the national news.

Still same town, last week bandit attacks a village, injured lots of people, and still went away with some of them, who they feel can give them what they want. the truth is, the case died a piece of local news.

whether you like it not, lots of people disappear every day in Nigeria, and some of those cases were not reported and thus, the government could not do anything about them.

It festivities at the pick and one has to be very careful during this period. To avoid being enslaved and captured.

These are the main factors that could be attributed to the recent incessant increase in kidnapping in the nation

Insecurity, poverty, politicking, ethnic differences, banditry, and many more. To avoid being kidnapped, we should be we should be wearing of where we go and places to visit.

These are some volatile areas in the country that one must be careful about before visiting. such areas should totally be avoided places like Maiduguri, Yobe, Katsina, lokoja Express road Kaduna Express road, are all  volatile

Extravagant life should be avoided, some people are fond of living an extravagant lifestyle, flaunting money and spending money unnecessarily just to impress their friends, families and neighbours

Such lifestyle could easily trigger kidnappers to haunt such people because of random expected in return.

Social media buzz Is another major determinant, some people are also fond of posting wealth and luxury on social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. these are  some major platforms where kidnappers get their prey from,

Some give vital information about their journey, plans, movement, and even how to locate the name of social media entanglement, such an attitude should be totally avoided now and even after the festive period
