Have you ever been in a situation that made you want the earth to open up and swallow you? I have and I’m going to share one of those experiences with you.
Asaba in the state of Delta is one of the lively and overrated cities in Nigeria, don’t ask me why it’s overrated just to visit and clear your doubts, one fascinating thing about living here is that you get to see Nollywood stars on a regular basis and you get to know them to the extent that you see them as the common people you meet on the street every day, a lot of movie stuff is going on in the state of Delta.
I tell you what? I was born in this glorious city, and I love it so much no matter where I find myself, what’s funny about this city? You don’t stress so much here, but you end up living comfortably, especially indigenous people. Don’t ask me how you just come down and see things for yourself, you might even end up moving in. Smile
A gossip friend of mine told me about the resultant that makes the most delicious grilled meat in town and I became interested, I went there on time to avoid waiting as she told me earlier. I was a little furious when I got there and realized that some gluttons like me were waiting to be served. Anyway, I waited patiently.
This world is overflowing with people who have an attitude issue, it was my turn already and the huge guy before me made me run out of my little reserved composure, that I began to ask myself if huge people are bullies? Last week I was almost got pounded in the bank by a huge woman just because I was trying to explain something to her, I left my position to use the restroom, on coming back she had already replaced me.
I will hit the gym very soon, I hate intimidation. winks…
So the giant guy was speaking to someone on the phone and was using his hand to gesture something I don’t understand, so I quickly advance closer to the counter and made my own order, he shifts his phone from his mouth and places his order, I thought him a lesson I told my myself.
Without wasting time I went straight to the next lady for payment but the sales lady told me not to worry because someone has already paid for my bill she said pointing to his direction.
You again, I mumbled in my tiny voice, but he did not even look at my direction leaving me confused, I did bother to show him my appreciation or screw him for doing that without my permission because I was mad at him. I was still standing over the counter when he walked past me with the two items. At first, I thought he wanted to give mine over to me, but no he’s left with the both.
I was pinned to the ground and wished it never happened but it did, people who witnessed the scenario from the beginning were all staring at me, my wobble leg became so unstable could no longer carry me but I managed to take myself to the convince to ease the tension out, I stood knocking and someone was inside, I waited, but the person inside refuses to come out so I had to nock hard and then a man with an unzipped pant hurried out, I brushed past and rush inside. I wasted much time to make sure people who witnessed the scene have already left before leaving.
