 Men love to have their photo enlarged but are so busy to do that, they love it when they come into the living room and see their framed photo hung on the wall. You can jokingly ask for their favorite picture, work on it, and use it as a surprise on his birthday.

I remember my brother loves cowboy shoe; on one of his birthdays, his girlfriend decided to get him a Nike sneaker, at first I laughed because he is not a sneaker kind of dude, but you need to see the excitement on his face when he put that on, afterward, I learned men love sneaker and they are tons of it everywhere, get a nice one and surprise your man for his upcoming birthday.

Most men suck at buying things especially for themselves, either because they are shuddering a lot of responsibilities or that they are tight spenders. Some use worn-out bags for their laptop, get him a laptop bag to support the one they already have like they will appreciate it.

Before you do this check his closet first, to ascertain what he actually needs, a backpack, or any other traveling bag, there are different kinds of travel bags and you can choose any to surprise him with on his special day.

 If your man is that person who is starting up a business, a new one at that matter gets him a book concerning the business,  even if it’s an old business get him a book for more insight. Years back, I had a friend who wanted to go into real estate, he was having issues with a lot of things but he kept comforting himself with the saying that ‘ it’s not always easy to start a thing’ I got one of 

One week went and I got a lengthy message from him, showing his real appreciation. Remember your man must be a businessman before getting him a book, everybody needs it just be smart enough to know which is more appropriate for his profession.

Gym membership

I am going to say this here! A few months ago a friend of mine told me her husband is getting fatter every day, he even snores, something I never see him do she cried bitterly. She said she has done everything possible to arrest the situation but all to no avail. All her effort was futile. So we decided to go get him a gym membership ticket in one of the city gym houses a day before his 38th birthday. At first, he was angry she did such without his consent, later he started up with his gym exercise and continued afterward.  You can get him a gym membership just to keep fit; he mustn’t be fat to earn it.

Take him to spa/massage

 The world is filled with ladies who want to relax and be taken care of like we are the only being on earth. Men love those soft touches- yes and I mean it. Hardly heard of ladies taking their men to the spa? it’s always the other way round.  You can do this on his birthday or the weekend of that birthday if he is busy with work; he will be surprised and happy just have a nice arrangement.

 Buy him a good memory

 Some people don’t like material gifts and will not appreciate it either, all they need is a lasting memory and you can help them reach that goal, for that’s the essence of living.

Cute picnic

Depending on where you located you can prefer to use the beach or some other nice place around you.

Cruise on a bike ride

This is going to be very nice as both of you will be entangled with each other

You can set up a romantic dinner at home

Yes before he comes back home, change the shape of the house, make his favorite meal, and keep them waiting for his arrival, or you can even order from a nice restaurant. Just make everything look good.

 You can go camping in an exotic place or somewhere nice.

For me, I’d like to visit Jamaica soon, and Kenya also if your man is like me who always talk about a particular destination often, then you guys can travel together, if you can afford it, surprise him with the travel ticket, it’s a memory of a lifetime.

Men love this a lot, I noticed it from the way I hide mine from my brothers and how I struggle with it when am around my male friends, ask a male friend of mine what’s the big deal with the Bluetooth thing, he said;’ I love it because it makes me look cool and attractive’ you see, you can get it for your man and thank me later.

Get him his favorite liquor

Go to a wine shop or order for his favorite liquor, you can spice it up by letting it delivered to him while alone, anytime depending on his job schedule. On one of my birthdays I got my favorite drink delivered to me by errand boy while I was still in school, I was expecting something different but damn I got my favorite drink, it looked crazy but I can’t forget it in a haste as the thought of it makes me laugh out loud like who does that kind of thing.

Watch or watch box

You may decide to get him a new watch if it’s necessary, but if he happens to be that watch kind of dude, get a watch box for him to put all his watches. He may never know he needs it till you get one.

Suitcase and a case or business card

Get him a  nice suitcase if he always travels for business, and more importantly, a business card case, if you see lots of business card virtually in all corner of the room, buy a nice business card case and slut all the card inside, so it’s handy whenever he needs it and will not have to search for it always

Wallet

Sometimes when you tell a man with a torn wallet to get a new one, you see him defending themselves with’ the older the better’ it a lie, just get him a new smart wallet and see how he disposes of his old wallet.

Beard trimmer

 This will be nice, as it would allow him to trim his beard effortlessly at home when the need arises.

Inner wears

Before you do this take a look at his closet first to see what brand he patronizes and his style otherwise he might not like it, don’t buy him what he already has enough.

 Get nice perfume, roll-on, and body spray put them in a box. I love men who wear nice cologne because am sensitive to smell.
