There has never been such a huge or significant protest in Nigerian history. This protest was born out of long-standing anger also on part of Nigerians. either by direct or indirect contact and a terrible experience with special anti-Robbery squared that has its units in the Nigerian police force unit of the Nigerian Police Force that often operates in plainclothes.
Nigerian youth-led mass demonstrations last week demanding an end to police violence, from Lagos to Enugu, Port-Harcourt to Asaba, Kaduna to Uyo, as well as expatriate Nigerian communities around the world.

Ex BBN housemate Erica Nlewedim and Mercy Eke were sported sharing food items and money to empower protesters. a woman was also sported sharing sachet water to the thirsty. there are charitable attributes that show Nigerian Youths are not what the government thinks they are.
The mobile charging port was made available for the easy charging of phones.
Recall that on 19th April 2018. President Mohammadu Buhari told the commonwealth secretary in London during an interview that Nigerians youth are lazy
Nigerian youths have shown the world during this protest that they are not lazy, but the government has failed in their responsibilities. it unimaginable to think this actually took place but they speak volume to a sincere heart. Nigerian youths used this protest to display critical thinking and technological skills. They provided mobile charging ports and wifi for easy internet access.
Youth exchanged airtime to sponsor an online protest
Social media is also a forum to raise funds for protests and also to ensure accountability for the funds invested. A lot of people distributed free air time and still sharing airtime and data to support themselves, on all social media platforms, they’re supporting many people who couldn’t go out to demonstrate, but protesting online while at home or in their place of work. People are going out of their way to give recharge cards and money to strangers, all because they trust each other, they stand with one voice.
The youth came with both a brush as well as garbage bags to sweep up
This generation of protesters is everything we have hoped for as a people. They finish protest, then pick up a broom and start cleaning the place despite police brutality to them. have been made to think that we are not human enough, but here are young people who know what it takes to keep an environment clean. It happened in Lagos and all the other states. These protesters made sure they were clean everywhere. While others were screaming and walking, drinking, and eating. others were watching their backs, picking up specks of dirt around them. It was recorded that the environments were not messed up during the protest.
Lost items were returned to the owner
Also, note that on February 5, 2016. The President of Nigeria told the United Kingdom in a telegram that Nigerians are criminals. As a result, Nigerian youths at home and in the diaspora were branded as criminals. There are criminals all over the world. Every country has a fair share of this. but it gains more traction when a leader comes to openly declare his people to be criminals.
The good news is that while people matched for this course, a lot of people misplaced their belongings, phones, watches, and bags, etc. You might be interested to know that these belongings have been returned to the real owners.
Conclusion
Soccer has been the only thing that has brought Nigerians together in a short time. In those times, when Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ Football team play with foreign teams, every sport loving Nigeria, regardless of tribe, and every ethnic group comes together as one. Whatever the result of the game, they bear it together.
It is surprising that even greater love and solidarity has been achieved among young people, without football being the center of attraction. For the first time in history, Nigerians have set aside their religious fanaticism, ethnic sentiment, and tribal mentality to stand in one voice shouting reform! They were able to do this by directing their grievances towards police brutality into a call for action.
the # EndSARS protests are an organic movement, decentralized but well organized, with demonstrators switching. As a result, the campaign focused solely on their message of ending police violence. This message is a cohesive force and time in Nigeria’s modern history. The movement is not related to any trade union, nor to the desires of any celebrity or social media personality.
History will never forget the doggedness and altruistic act of this generation towards changing the status quo
